  1. 1898-1988. Italian founder of the Ferrari
  2. automobile manufacturing company, which
  3. specializes in Grand Prix race car and
  4. high-quality sports automobiles. He was a
  5. racing driver for Alfa Romeo in the 1920s,
  6. went on to become one of their designers, and
  7. in 1929 took over their racing division. In
  8. 1947 the first “true” Ferrari was seen. The
  9. Ferrari automobile has won more world
  10. championship Grands Prix than any other
  11. automobile.
